Red Terror Martyrs' Memorial Museum
Memorializing a brutal time in Ethiopian's recent history, the Red Terror Martyrs' Memorial Museum (RTMMM) provides a place for the public to learn and acknowledge the violence of this past genocide and move forward in healing. Between 1977 and 1978, a reign of fear and death prevailed over Ethiopian men, women and children, instigated by Mengistu Haile Mariam. The Museum exhibits include photos and artifacts, plus a library of books and other materials related to the Red Terror and the military junta known as the Derg.Details
