Great Chef, hospitable team
I had the priviledge of being served by Ramada's Executive Sous chef, Mr Eyob Kassahun! The secial dish hit the right place and I felt super happy! He's also very friednly and customer responsive, like most of Ramada staff. My team have been staying at Ramada since January and they have all felt warmth and at home. Kee up the good work-remember, a hotel is as good as its people! Pam Steele, May 201

Room for improvement
The Ramada, on the face of it, is a half decent business hotel, but the service lets it down enormously. I had a two week stay, so was able to see the good, the bad and the ugly! Things they got right: The main part of the hotel appears clean and airy. Front of house staff all courteous and attentive (though they kept forgetting morning calls). The staff, in general, were really lovely and smiley (which made it so hard to complain). The beds were comfy and the rooms a nice size. Good breakfast choice and nice coffee. The brazilian BBQ is pretty good but, again, the staff can be slow to serve. Things that needed room for improvement: My shower towels were not replenished daily. I had to keep phoning down to reception to get them dropped off and even then they sometimes forgot. On one occasion, an employee rang my doorbell, i shouted for them to wait, but they walked into my room whilst i was undressed. I had several morning calls that were late or missed altogether - not acceptable for a business hotel. The first floor restaurant and staff underperformed. I ordered steak, fries and peppercorn sauce in the restaurant. The steak came first, twenty minutes later the fries and then red wine (instead of peppercorn) sauce 20 minutes after that. They deliver food and then walk away empty handed, leaving dirty plates and cutlery on the table. On the numerous occasions my colleagues and I ate together, our food was never delivered at the same time. It's difficult to get the attention of staff. They are really lovely, but they all behave like trainees. On several occasions, we had to wait over 20 mins for the bill/waiter/drinks/menus. The club sandwich one evening was appalling. The bread was rock hard and stale, the chicken cold, the salad limp - it looked like it had been sat on the side for over a week. Unless we ordered steak, the food was hit and miss. The pasta was overcooked and the sauce was super hot, but with no actual taste. The fries were so overcooked, they shattered when you put your fork into one. I had cockroaches in my room (thankfully the small skitterish variety and not the massive ones). My shower door did not close and it leaked all over the floor (dampness probably adding to the attraction of cockroaches!). Overall, the ramada lacks the facilities that other hotels in the price range offer - the gym is tiny. No pool. The 'oak Bar' is dark and dingy with tatty rattan furniture, though the reception bar is airier and quieter. The food is hit and miss. The hotel lacks any kind of atmosphere or consistency. These are all easy problems to rectify but the staff need to be on the ball when dealing with customers

Really great team works here, from the hotel shuttle through to the reception and porters. Amazingly helpful staff. Super convenient to some great restaurants and offices in the area. Super busy, so the rooms show their wear and tear, but everything works and is super clean

3 nights stay April 2018
We initially ended up there for 3 nights ...but spent 2 thanks to Ethiopian airlines being canceled in CDG. Anyway, a really good option as it is close to the airport (5 minutes drive). But beware of pickpockets especially at night (they are really clever ..). Food was ok but just cross the road and you will find a nice little restaurant really really cheap. the room was of good standard quite big (35 sq/m). Due to the state of emergency at the time you will be checked every time you enter and exit the premises. Overall a good stay except for my phone being stolen ..
